Top 3 #Sports Reads! 🏃⚽🏀🏈⚾

Hi everyone!

So for this list, I'll confess I haven't read a lot of sports books, but it is my baby brother's birthday today.

He's a huge sports fan so this list is for him and, fyi, some of these are in his personal library while others are books he, I, or even you might like. So nothing's in any particular order.

If you have any sports-based books you'd like to recommend, let me know in the comments.

#3: Passion for Sports: Athletes tell their stories of why they love their games by Sporting News

This used to be mine, but now belongs to him. If you're a sports fan, you'll likely enjoy reading about the passions that athletes have for their various sports; why they do what they do.

It's inspiring to see why these people trained, many for their entire lives, to do the job they loved.

#2: Go Long! by Tiki and Ronde Barber with Paul Mantell

I think this is the book that really got my brother into sports. It was one of the first books he had.
Synopsis:
"Tiki and Ronde were the stars of their Pee Wee football team, the Cave Springs Vikings. But middle school is much bigger than elementary school and it’s a whole different game—on and off the field. When Coach Spangler takes a job coaching for the high school team and Tiki’s old science teacher Mr. Wheeler is tapped for the middle school coaching job, the beginning of the school year and the football season is off to a bumpy start. But through working together, the boys discover that the whole team is bigger than any of its parts."

#1: The Final Four by Paul Volponi

My brother hasn't read this and neither have I, but it looks interesting.

Synopsis:
March Madness is in full swing, and there are only four teams let in the NCAA basketball championship. The heavily favored Michigan Spartans and the underdog Troy Trojans meet in the first game in the seminfinals, and it's there that the fates of Malcolm, Roko, Crispin, and M.J. intertwine. As the last moments tick down on the game clock, you'll learn how each player went from being a kid who loves to shoot hoops to a powerful force in one of the most important games of the year. Which team will leave the Superdome victorious? In the end it will come down to who has the most skill, the most drive, and the most heart.
