#Blog Post: Mistaken Thoughts by QueenJReads

 Mistaken Thoughts by Queen J

None of us are perfect.
Not exactly a newsflash, but its true. We’re always learning something, not just when it comes to subject matter, but when it comes to ourselves.
As a result, because we are not perfect, we make mistakes.
In other words, things that we might believe are one way are really something entirely different.
This also applies to our thoughts.

Speaking personally, I am an ambivert with more introvert tendencies. So, I tend to live in my head, thinking that something is one way when it is really far from it in reality. Often, I might forgo asking questions for one reason or another, thinking that my instincts are fully correct and that I don’t need to.This is something that I work on each and every single day.
Not to say that one’s inner instincts aren’t correct.

In fact, it is often our gut feelings that get us and keep us out of many a dangerous situation. However, there are other times when you learn that your thoughts were at least a little distorted all along. And there are times when it is good to get out of your head and gut and ask questions as it might lead you to something that you something or someone that you hadn’t realized you needed in the first place.

Have you been guilty of thinking something is one thing when it turned out to be completely different in reality? Please feel free to share!
